This is an optimistic and powerful work based on the beloved Old Hundredth hymn tune. The piece is put together using two contrasting ideas - a fanfare-like acclamation and hymn tune in the pedals surrounded with toccata figuration in the hands. The composition will be very effective in liturgical organ playing as a postlude and in concert programs whenever joyful and loud music is desired, at the beginning or at the end.
