This is a trumpet tune that I created for Tim Knight's Tubes and Pipes organ composition contest. It's based on the opening motive of Gordon Young's Prelude in Classical Style so I subtitled it Hommage a Gordon Young. Although it wasn't selected among the winners, I'm glad I had this opportunity to create this optimistic piece. Hope you will enjoy it!
