This gentle composition is set to the tune "Southwell", known with the text "O Christ, You Walked the Road". The tune is presented 3 times - first in the soprano (E minor key), then in the tenor (G minor key) and finally in the pedals (E Minor key). The rhythmic movement intensifies throughout the piece but still keeps a calm mood. It will be suitable to perform for Lent and any occasion where meditative music is required - Communion, Vespers, Compline etc.
