The Bells of Notre Dame - A Souvenir from Paris is my recent memoir from performing an organ recital at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on January 4, 2026. The musical idea is taken from the sounds of the cathedral bells. The piece is written in 5 part ABABA form where in part A musical material is written in descending motion and in contrasting part B - in ascending motion. Dedicated to my wife Ausra who also performed a recital at Notre Dame on January 11, 2026.
