This suite is based on the tune Gaudeamus Igitur which is an academic anthem in many universities. Each of the 6 movements features a specific dance based on this tune: I. Polonaise, II. Polka, III. Waltz, IV. Rumba, V. Cha-Cha-Cha and VI. Bolero. This suite will be a fun addition to any recital program. Each movement can also be performed on its own.
