This composition is transcribed from my improvisation on Gregorian chant tune Ave Regina Caelorum. It is based on ostinato technique in the pedals. The right hand part plays the chant tune in slower note values with the Oboe stop and the left hand supplies colourful harmonies. This piece will be useful in liturgical and concert use whenever contemplative music is desired. Dedicated to Jan Noordzij.
