This composition is based on Gregorian chant tune for Good Friday "Crux fidelis". The tune is played in the right hand part while the left hand and pedals provide supporting asymmeticral ostinato patterns in the Dorian mode from the key of D. This piece will be very effective in liturgical and concert organ playing whenever contemplative music is desired. Dedicated to Clara Park.
