In this meditative piece Gregorian chant In Paradisum is played in canon between the right hand and pedal parts on 4' registration. Phrases of the chant alternate with refrain in which one can hear the fluttering of wings of angels. Tonally, the mode moves back and forth between F and D Mixolydian. This composition will be very effective for funerals, memorial liturgy and recitals whenever contemplative music is desired. Dedicated in memory of Laimutis Telksnys.
