This is a meditation in the key of C minor in 3/4 meter which is based on the hymn tune Jesu, meine Freude (Jesus Priceless Treasure). The tune is played by the right hand part on a solo registration while the left hand and pedal parts play colourful ostinato figures around it. Dedicated to Paulius Grigonis.
