This is an exciting carillon-style piece based on the hymn tune Morning Star. The outer sections are written in G major and feature carillon texture and the tune in the pedals. The middle section is written in Bb major and features the chorale tune in the soprano and choral texture. This piece will be very effective in liturgical organ playing and recital programs.
