Meditation on For All the Saints in G major is based on the famous hymn tune by Ralph Vaughan Williams SINE NOMINE most often associated with All Saints' Day. The tune is heard in soprano played by the pedal part with the solo stop at 4' pitch level. The left hand part provides a harmonic foundation with the ostinato figure and the right hand part adds slowly moving colorful chords making this meditation a suitable piece for worship or concert whenever a contemplative music is desired.
