This is a gentle meditation based on the well-known Christmas hymn tune Forest Green (O Little Town of Bethlehem). It is written in the key of F major, 4/4 meter and features hymn melody in the soprano part played by the right hand while left hand and pedals play rather rhythmical pattern and refrain. This piece will be very effective in liturgical organ playing and recital programs.
