This meditation is written in the key of D major and is based on one of the most important hymn for Epiphany, Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern. The tune is presented in the right hand part. The left hand with pedals play a colourful ostinato figure leading the listener into the state of contemplation. This piece will be very effective in liturgical organ playing and recital programs.
