hese are accessible and effective 4 organ meditations based on Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus and Agnus Dei parts of Gregorian chant Missa de Angelis. Musical language of this cycle is modal and with a few exceptions makes the mode of this Mass shine. The origin of this work lies in improvisation but it is not a direct transcription. However, the general idea and form is the same as in improvised version on my Secrets of Organ Playing YouTube channel. These meditations could be played on a wide variety of organs and will serve liturgical purpose whenever contemplative music is desired. Dedicated to Rien Schalkwijk.
