This is an original meditation based on Lithuanian folk song "Saulele, motule". The text of the song talks about little shepherds begging the Mother sun to rise. Dedicated to my Dad for his 82nd birthday. This tune which you will hear stated as a single line at the beginning is a very dear melody with deep symbolic meaning to my dad who grew up in a rural society and who still had memories of little boys serving as shepherds guarding the flock at night. Sunrise would be their favourite time of the day, after the dark hours have passed.
