The middle section explores colorful excursions into E♭ major, D♭ major, and F major before returning peacefully to C major.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNo. 2 in E♭ major, Op. 377 – A lyrical and calming piece, featuring a graceful right-hand theme. The contrasting middle section moves through F major and G minor before resolving back to the home key.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNo. 3 in F major, Op. 378 (3\/4 time) – A cantabile of quiet contemplation.
