Prelude on Thine Is the Glory, Op. 252 (Organ Solo) by Vidas Pinkevicius

Regular price $5.99

This is a festive prelude for Easter time based on the tune of Thine Is the Glory (JUDAS MACCABAEUS) by G.F. Handel in D Major. The piece can be played on an organ with one manual and pedals. The tune is heard in the right hand part and the left hand and pedals play supporting but not synchronic ostinato patterns. The entire piece is woven around colorful harmonies. This composition will be very effective in liturgical organ playing and recital programs whenever joyful music is desired. Dedicated to Rolf Wassens.
