This cycle follows a traditional order of Stations of the Cross or Via Crucis with additional prelude at the beginning and a postlude at the end. It consists of 16 meditations contemplating Jesus' suffering and death at the cross. Musical language is colorful but not too dissonant. Each meditation is around 1.5-2 minutes of duration. Difficulty level is Easy Intermediate. This cycle will be very effective in musical devotions around the time of the Holy Week. Dedicated to James Flores.
